Today we celebrate the International Day of Education, a day proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly to honour education and its centrality to human well-being and sustainable development.
The 2020 theme ‘Learning for people, planet, prosperity and peace’ confirms that education and learning is one of humanity’s greatest renewable resources. It celebrates how learning can empower people, preserve the planet, build shared prosperity and foster peace. Without inclusive and equitable education, countries will not succeed in breaking the cycle of poverty that is leaving millions of children, youth and adults behind.
At Prodesign, we believe that education is at the heart of both personal and community development. Our mission is to help our MEP consulting engineers further develop their knowledge and skills and to reach their full potential. In our endeavor for continuous education and learning, we have organised a one-week training on ‘Practical Application of Psychometrics in HVAC’ conducted by CDR Atul Kumar Rohatgi who has decades of expertise in building services engineering. We are planning to organise similar training this year as we see our employees as our most important resource.
