Prodesign was appointed in December 2016 for the renovation and extension of Veranda Tamarin Hotel, with an emphasis on preserving its famed character. The works required Prodesign MEP consultancy services for the renovation of existing rooms, public areas, and back of house, as well as the construction of several additional rooms.

Our MEP Consultants undertook an M&E engineering survey, designed and inspected all the electrical infrastructures and air-conditioning and lighting systems with the aim of considerably reducing energy consumption, whilst using existing installations and equipment as much as possible to produce smart solutions and minimise construction costs. Our Building Services Engineers also provided the design for the MEP aspects of the renovation of the swimming pool and the pool terrace.

The consultancy programme demonstrated that innovation and MEP Consultants services were entirely compatible with a speedy renovation process. The project scope concerned a very broad range of systems: disposal, pipe supply, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical supply, power and lighting, as well as communications, security and control.
