They wanted a new system which will enhance guests’ comfort while reducing the energy consumed by the system. They were also looking for a system which gives the maintenance team peace of mind for the next 10 years.
We designed a customised VRV system which works with a REMS from a different supplier, tied with a bespoke 10 year repair and maintenance contract with the supplier, which we drafted.
The challenges of this project were to undertake the design and installation without closing the hotel ,with the least disturbance to guests. A villa of 8 rooms had to be completed in 7 days.
Works started in November 2016 and were completed on 31st August 2017. The new AC system is more silent, consumes less energy and more user friendly. The REMS promises to further reduce the electricity bills.
