Working within a team of international consultants, Prodesign provided MEP design, contract administration and supervision services for this very fast-tracked project, which was completed in September 2014. One of the biggest challenges was to complete the design and tendering documentation within a 20-day deadline, which required non-stop work by a large team of engineers and CAD workers. As a tightly-scheduled project, there were several other challenges which Prodesign had to deal with every day on site, including co-ordinating the various MEP works, approving drawing and materials quickly, and integrating the new systems with existing installations.
The challenges were met successfully and the project was completed and handed over to the client on time, after extensive testing and commissioning. Prodesign is proud to have been involved in this hotel renovation, among the finest in Mauritius.
