April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. From its inception at the First Health Assembly in 1948 and since taking effect in 1950, the celebration has for primary goal to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.
Over the past years, this has shed light on the important health issues such as mental health, maternal and child care, and climate change. The celebration is marked by activities which extend beyond the day itself and serves as an opportunity to focus worldwide attention on these important aspects of global health.
Prodesign’s green building consultants designs buildings which enhance indoor air quality, especially those which are LEED certified. We provide 30% excess fresh air over the baseline in buildings to ensure a proper indoor environment for its occupants’ comfort, well-being, and productivity by improving indoor air quality. Our sustainability consultants also ensure that paints, adhesives and chemical used during construction do not contain volatile organic compounds which can affect the health of the occupants.
This is our contribution to a better and healthier workforce and joins us in celebrating the World Health Day, like our MEP Consultants, sustainability consultants, project managers, green building consultants, building services designers and M&E engineers!
