An occupational safety and health culture is one in which the right to a safe and healthy working environment is respected at all levels, where employers and employees actively participate in securing a safe and healthy working environment through a system of defined rights, responsibilities and duties, and where prevention is given the highest priority.
Prodesign lays great stress on staff welfare through a variety of schemes ranging from free breakfasts to free accident and personal insurance cover, a free medical insurance scheme and free contributions to a pension scheme, in addition to the statutory NPF contributions. Prodesign is also an equal opportunity firm, in which fair treatment is given to all staff regardless of gender, race, religion or origin.
In June 2010, Prodesign hired Tony Trinick, a leading UK consultant, to review the organisation. The firm has since reviewed its structure, making it more open to change and encouraging innovation, not least through promoting bi-directional communication and flexible work roles. This new structure has enhanced work quality and raised staff morale and team spirit.
